Population
Total midyear population, including all residents regardless of legal status or citizenship.
GDP
The value of goods and services produced in an economy, measured in current US dollars. Not adjusted for inflation or purchasing power.
GDP per capita
GDP divided by midyear population, in current US dollars. This is not a measure of individual income.
Inflation
The annual percentage change in the cost of a consumer basket. Negative values indicate falling prices.
Unemployment
The share of the labor force without work but available for and seeking employment. Modeled ILO estimate.
Fertility rate
The number of children a woman would have if she experienced the current age-specific fertility rates throughout her reproductive life.
Life expectancy
Expected years of life at birth if current mortality patterns remain constant throughout life.
